Tile Setters Thin-Set program |

Understanding the Basics of Terrazzo |
TTMAC has developed two distance learning, web based programs called
- "Understand the Basics of Ceramic Tile"
- "Understanding the Basics of Natural Stone"
Both programs are web based and a participant can access the program seven days a week, 24 hours a day, and has 21 days to complete the program. Each program consists of several sections, each having a pre-course test and a post section test. A participant can elect to take a section over before proceeding to the next section. The participant can sign in and out during the 21 days, and must have an overall average of over 80% in order to pass and print off a Certificate. The participant can then download a copy of the Student Reference Guide for future use.
Understanding the Basics of Natural Stone – 8.0 CEU’s for Architects .6 CEU’s for professional Designers
The Natural Stone course includes Canadian industry standards and sales techniques and is designed to give salespeople the tools they need in order to increase sales, give stone installers and fabricators the knowledge of industry standards and how to assist clients with selecting natural stone, and give architects and professional designers the knowledge on how to select and specify natural stone. The Ceramic Tile course includes Canadian industry standards and sales techniques and is designed to give salespeople the tools they need in order to increase sales, give tile installers and fabricators the knowledge of industry standards and how to assist clients with selecting the right tiling, and give architects and professional designers the knowledge on how to select and specify ceramic and porcelain tile. Tile Setters Thin-Set program
The Tile Setters Thin-Set program includes Canadian industry standards and techniques and is designed to give people the tools they need in order to review tile setting methods. By taking this course you will go through substrates standards, surface preparation, thin-set applications, substrates, installation methods and quality control. A perfect course for anyone who would like to better understand the tile setter’s thin-set program.
Understanding the Basics of Terrazzo
This course will give you a better understating on what terrazzo is. Going through the modules of the course, you will learn about terrazzo basics, care and maintenance, installation overview, design and colour selection. A perfect course for architects, designers, specifiers to better understand and enhance their ability to select the right product and styles to finish a project.
