Location: Burnaby, B.C. and multiple job sites throughout Metro Vancouver and the lower mainland.

Job Duties:

• Locate and measure site location and placement of stone and equipment
• Lay out patterns or foundations, based on blueprints
• Shape, trim, face and cut stone preparatory to setting; using power saws, cutting equipment and hand tools (includes drilling and bracketing with precision)
• mechanically fasten stone or marble in place, according to layout
• Smooth, polish and bevel surfaces using hand tools and power tools

Requirements:

• Ability to work with a variety of hand tools (angle grinder, wet saw, drills, mixer)
• Applicants will require their own personal tools and transportation
• Strong work ethic
• Good physical fitness
• Ability to work within a team
• Safety gear (hard hat, steel toe boots, high visibility vest)
• Knowledge of WHIMIS is desirable
• Conversational English 

Education:

• High School

Work Experience:

• Minimum 5 years' experience with mechanical set stone veneer cladding

Terms of Employment:

• Permanent full time position (40 hours a week)
• $31 per hour plus extended medical and dental
• Position available ASAP
